committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals and to ensuring
compliance with the requirements of the National Privacy Principles of the
Privacy Amendment Act (Private Sector) 2000. To do this we have developed a
policy about the collection, use, disclosure and access to information we hold.
The policy has been drafted to ensure that all individuals who provide us with
personal information in any transaction have their privacy protected as

Collection of Information
Information is collected only for the purposes of its use in publishing The
Property Management Journal and for communicating with current subscribers and
advertisers and potential subscribers and advertisers. For example, when you
subscribe to the journal you will be asked to provide information such as name,
address, telephone numbers, email address so that we can ensure we provide a
consistent quality of service to you.
All information is collected by lawful and fair means.
Use and Disclosure
Personal information is collected for the purposes of processing subscriptions,
tracking subscriptions over time, communicating with subscribers and
advertisers, and responding to enquiries.
Information provided to Palmer Professional Management Group Pty Ltd trading as
the PPM Group for the above purposes will not be disclosed to any other
organization for any other purpose without the permission of the individual to
whom it relates. From time to time the information may be used to market
additional services or products offered by Palmer Professional Management Group
Pty Ltd trading as the PPM Group to subscribers. In these instances all
individuals will be given the opportunity to “opt-out” of receiving promotional
material either electronically or in hard copy.
Palmer Professional Management Group Pty Ltd trading as the PPM Group holds a
database of prospective advertisers and subscribers which is used for the
purpose of marketing subscriptions to The Property Management Journal and from
time to time for marketing additional company products and services. In these
instances individuals will also be given the opportunity to “opt-out” of
receiving any further marketing or promotional material either electronically
or in hard copy.
Data Quality, Access and Correction
Palmer Professional Management Group Pty Ltd trading as the PPM Group endeavours
to ensure that all data collected is accurate and up to date. From time to time
details change. Opportunities are provided to all contractors, and customers to
update their personal details on a regular basis to ensure this accuracy is
maintained. Any person, whether a current, past or potential subscriber,
advertiser or other client may upon request and in accordance with the
provisions set down in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 request
access to personal information held on them. Should any inaccuracies be noted,
the individual has the right to request a correction to the information and

undertakes to ensure that the corrections are actioned.
Our aim is to ensure that the privacy of all individuals is maintained. However
should a complaint arise in relation to how information is collected, used, or
disclosed, we will endeavour to remedy the situation.
